Ramana called for a shift in the education system, urging institutes to integrate historical understanding with a futuristic vision. He emphasized the necessity of equipping young minds with the right tools and attitudes to bring about positive transformations in society. The Chief Justice underscored the need for an educational model that prepares individuals to face real-life challenges, promotes social solidarity, and creates meaningful contributors to society.

He highlighted the original purpose of institutions of national importance, emphasizing that they were established to provide comprehensive education for nation-building. Reflecting on his own experiences as a student, he noted the university’s historical role as a fertile ground for social movements, shaping a sense of nation-building among students.

Ramana urged universities and their research wings to focus on issues affecting the country and collaborate with renowned research organizations. He stressed the importance of practical experience for students and cultivating a culture of scientific inquiry and research. The Chief Justice called for active cooperation from the State in allocating funds for research and innovation to prevent key areas of learning and research from suffering due to a lack of funding.

He called for the development of an inclusive vision of progress, fostering a vibrant and idealistic democracy where differences in identities and opinions are respected.
